As a self-proclaimed “word nerd,” Lisa loves solving challenging crosswords, outwitting opponents at Scrabble, engaging in a heated debate with fellow grammarians, and crafting perfectly tuned prose that resonates with audiences. Her 35-year career in financial services found her leading brand management and communications efforts at several of the industry’s most respected firms and advising clients worldwide on marketing strategy and positioning. She’s a fast, intuitive writer who can bring heart and soul into even the most basic assignment.
When she’s not writing, reading, or watching classic films, Lisa is a “crazy cat lady with a purr-pose." She’s a volunteer and member of the Board of Overseers of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention for Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) and a member of the Board of Directors of the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society (MRFRS). Her capacity for creating feline-related puns is unmatched. Lisa earned her BA magna cum laude in American Studies from Mount Holyoke College.
